2007 OLA Conference Report
On February 1st 2007, I had the opportunity to attend the OLA conference for the first time. I’d have to say that it was a fantastic experience that provided me with a lot of great information and ideas. One of my favorite sessions was the last session I attended called “The Librarian is IM: Instant Messaging vs. Virtual Reference Software.” It was interesting to see the contrast between the library services available at Gerstein Science Information Centre, University of Toronto and the Mohawk College library.
